Overview

Streaks and combos reward consistent daily action and efficient capture sessions. They're designed to build productive habits, maintain momentum, and maximize your effectiveness as a lead generator.

Understanding Streaks

What is a Streak?

A streak is a consecutive series of days where you complete a specific action. In D4D, the primary streak tracks daily lead captures.

Streak Rules:

• ✅ Capture at least 1 lead = Streak continues
• ❌ Miss a day = Streak resets to 0
• 🕐 Resets at midnight (your timezone)
• 🔥 Visual flame icon shows current streak

Capture Streak

How It Works

Daily Requirement:

• Capture minimum 1 lead per day
• Any lead counts (new property)
• Must be captured within 24-hour period
• Timezone: Your account timezone setting

Streak Counter:

• Updates in real-time
• Shows current day count
• Historical longest streak saved
• Progress toward next milestone

Streak Protection

Streak Freeze

What It Does:

• Protects your streak for 1 day
• Use when you can't capture
• Auto-applies if you have one

How to Get Streak Freezes:

• Earn 1 freeze per 7-day streak
• Max 2 freezes stored
• Purchase with coins (future feature)
• Special events/promotions

Using Streak Freeze:

• Automatic if you miss a day
• Notification when used
• Shows "Protected by freeze" status
• Next day must capture to continue

Example:

• Day 29 of streak
• Have 1 freeze stored
• Miss Day 30
• Freeze auto-applies
• Day 31: Must capture (no freeze left)
• Streak shows "30 (protected)"

Vacation Mode

For longer breaks:

• Enable Vacation Mode
• Pauses streak (doesn't break)
• Maximum 14 days per year
• Must enable in advance (24 hours)
• Streak "frozen" during vacation

How to Enable:

1. Settings → Account → Vacation Mode
2. Select dates
3. Confirm (24 hours before start)
4. Streak pauses automatically
5. Resume when back

Example:

• 45-day streak
• Enable vacation Dec 20-27
• Return Dec 28
• Streak still shows 45 days
• Continue from where you left off

Combos

What is a Combo?

A combo is a series of consecutive lead captures within a single session, with bonus XP multipliers that increase with each capture.

Combo Rules:

• ✅ Each lead captured adds to combo
• ✅ Multiplier increases with combo count
• ❌ 15-minute gap breaks combo
• 🎯 Max combo multiplier: 3.0x

Combo Multipliers

Combo Chain:

• Leads 1-2: 1.0x (base)
• Leads 3-5: 1.1x (+10%)
• Leads 6-10: 1.25x (+25%)
• Leads 11-20: 1.5x (+50%)
• Leads 21-30: 2.0x (+100%)
• Leads 31-50: 2.5x (+150%)
• Leads 51+: 3.0x (+200%)

Example Session:

• Lead 1: 10 XP (1.0x) = 10 XP
• Lead 2: 10 XP (1.0x) = 10 XP
• Lead 3: 10 XP (1.1x) = 11 XP
• Lead 10: 10 XP (1.25x) = 12.5 XP
• Lead 25: 10 XP (2.0x) = 20 XP
• Lead 60: 10 XP (3.0x) = 30 XP

Total Bonus: Significant XP gain from sustained session!

Combo Visual Feedback

On Capture:

• Combo counter: "5x Combo!"
• Multiplier display: "1.25x XP"
• Color-coded (green → yellow → orange → red)
• Screen shake/flash on milestones
• Sound effect (if enabled)

Dashboard:

• Current session combo
• Today's best combo
• All-time record combo
• Combo leaderboard ranking

Combo Strategies

Maintain Combo:

1. Plan efficient routes - Minimize drive time
2. Quick captures - Photos + address, detail later
3. Stay focused - Avoid distractions
4. Have addresses ready - Pre-planned route
5. Use voice notes - Faster than typing

Break Combo (Intentionally):

• Take lunch/break
• Reset timer
• Start fresh
• Stretch between sessions

Maximize Combo XP:

• Weekend marathon sessions
• High-density neighborhoods
• Team competition days
• Use XP boost items (if available)

Streak Recovery

Lost Your Streak?

• 24-hour grace period to recover
• Must capture 3+ leads to recover
• Costs 1 streak freeze (if available)
• One-time per month limit

How to Recover:

1. Miss a day (streak broken)
2. Within 24 hours, capture 3 leads
3. System prompts: "Recover streak?"
4. Click "Yes" (uses freeze)
5. Streak restored minus 1 day

Example:

• 87-day streak broken
• Next day: Capture 3 leads
• Option: Recover to 86-day streak
• Uses your streak freeze
• Continue from there

Notifications & Reminders

Streak Reminders

Daily Notification:

• 8 PM (your timezone) if no captures today
• "Don't break your 45-day streak!"
• Quick link to capture lead
• Shows hours remaining

Customization:

• Settings → Notifications → Streaks
• Choose reminder time
• Frequency (daily, or only streaks 7+)
• Channels: Push, email, SMS

Multiple Reminders:

• First: 6 PM
• Second: 9 PM
• Final: 11 PM (urgent)
• Only if still no captures

Milestone Celebrations

When You Hit Milestone:

• Full-screen celebration
• Streak count animated
• Confetti/fireworks effect
• XP bonus awarded
• Badge earned (if applicable)
• Share button

• Major milestones (30, 90, 365 days)

Troubleshooting

Streak Not Counting

Symptoms: Captured lead but streak didn't increase

Solutions:

1. Check timezone

   • Settings → Account → Timezone
   • Verify correct timezone
   • Affects midnight reset

2. Verify capture time

   • Lead Details → Capture Date/Time
   • Must be within 24-hour window
   • Check if crossed midnight

3. Sync issues

   • Offline capture may delay
   • Wait for sync indicator
   • Refresh page after sync

4. Lead validation

   • Some test/spam leads don't count
   • Must be valid property
   • Check lead status

Combo Broke Unexpectedly

Symptoms: Combo reset during session

Solutions:

1. Time gap check

   • 15+ minute gap breaks combo
   • Check capture timestamps
   • Lead Details shows exact time

2. App/browser closed

   • Closing app resets combo
   • Keep app running in background
   • Mobile: Don't force close

3. Login session expired

   • Auto-logout breaks combo
   • Stay logged in
   • Check session timeout settings

Streak Freeze Not Working

Symptoms: Streak broke despite having freeze

Solutions:

1. Verify freeze availability

   • Profile → Streaks → Freeze count
   • Must have at least 1

2. Auto-apply setting

   • Settings → Streaks → Auto-use freeze
   • Should be enabled

3. Multiple missed days

   • Freeze only covers 1 day
   • Missing 2+ days breaks streak
   • Even with freeze

4. Vacation mode conflict

   • Can't use both simultaneously
   • Choose one or the other

Statistics & Analytics

Streak Stats

Profile → Statistics → Streaks:

• Current active streak
• Longest streak ever
• Total streak days (all time)
• Streak recovery uses
• Freezes earned vs used
• Streak milestones achieved
• Streak break history (last 10)

Insights:

• Average streak before break
• Improvement over time
• Best streak month/year
• Comparison to team average

Profile → Statistics → Combos:

• Current session combo
• Best combo today
• Best combo this week
• Best combo all-time

Advanced Strategies

🎯 Streak + Combo Synergy

Maximum XP Strategy:

1. Maintain long streak (90+ days) = 1.2x base
2. Daily combo sessions (50+ combo) = 3.0x on captures
3. Stack with badges (Century Club) = 1.05x
4. Total possible: 3.78x multiplier!

Example Math:

• Base lead capture: 10 XP
• 90-day streak: × 1.2 = 12 XP
• 50+ combo: × 3.0 = 36 XP
• Badge multiplier: × 1.05 = 37.8 XP
• Single lead worth 37.8 XP!
