Overview

The Lead Management page is your central hub for organizing, filtering, searching, and managing all captured leads. It provides powerful tools for tracking your pipeline from initial capture to closed deal.

Lead List View

Lead Card Components

Each lead displays:

Header:

  • Property address (clickable)
  • Status badge
  • Priority indicator

Details:

  • Property type icon + label
  • Distress score (1-10) with color coding
  • Capture date (relative time)
  • GPS coordinates icon (if available)

Photos:

  • Thumbnail of primary photo
  • Photo count badge

Actions:

  • View details
  • Edit lead
  • Change status
  • Change priority
  • Delete

Priority Indicators

  • 🔴 High Priority - Hot leads requiring immediate action
  • 🟡 Medium Priority - Qualified leads for follow-up
  • 🟢 Low Priority - Long-term prospects

Filtering Leads

Quick Filters (Top Bar)

Preset Filters:

  • All Leads
  • Active (excludes archived, dead, deal)
  • Hot Leads (high priority + high distress)
  • Needs Contact

Advanced Filters (Left Panel)

By Status

  • Multi-select checkbox list

Searching Leads

Search Field Features

Location: Top center of page

Search Capabilities:

  • Property address
  • City, state, ZIP
  • Owner name
  • Notes content
  • Property type
  • Status

Search Behavior:

  • Real-time search as you type
  • Minimum 2 characters to trigger
  • Debounced (300ms delay)
  • Highlights matching text
  • Case-insensitive
  • Partial matching supported

Keyboard Shortcut: / or Ctrl+F

Search Tips

  • Use quotes for exact phrases: "main street"
  • Multiple terms: foreclosure vacant
  • Combine with filters for precision
  • Clear search to reset

Sorting Leads

Sort Options

Dropdown Menu (Top Right):

  • Newest First (Default)
  • Oldest First
  • Highest Distress (10 → 1)
  • Lowest Distress (1 → 10)
  • Priority (High → Medium → Low)
  • Status (Custom order)
  • Address (A → Z)
  • Recently Modified
  • Most Photos

Secondary Sort:

  • Automatically applied after primary sort
  • Example: Sort by Priority, then by Date

Remember Preference:

  • System saves your last sort choice
  • Applied automatically on next visit

Bulk Actions

Selecting Multiple Leads

Methods:

  1. Individual: Check boxes on lead cards
  2. Select All: Checkbox in header
  3. Select Range: Shift+Click
  4. Select by Filter: Apply filter, then Select All

Selection Counter:

  • Shows count of selected leads
  • Appears in top bar when selections made

Available Bulk Actions

1. Update Status

  • Select multiple leads
  • Choose "Update Status" from Bulk Actions menu
  • Select new status
  • Confirm
  • All selected leads updated

2. Update Priority

  • Similar to status update
  • Change multiple priorities at once

3. Add Tags

  • Apply custom tags to multiple leads
  • Useful for categorization

4. Assign to User

  • Assign leads to team member
  • Good for distribution

5. Export Selected

  • Export to CSV
  • Choose fields to include
  • Download file

6. Bulk Delete

  • Delete multiple leads
  • Confirmation required
  • Cannot be undone

7. Archive

  • Move to archived status
  • Remove from active pipeline
  • Can be restored later

Bulk Edit Dialog

Steps:

  1. Select leads (checkboxes)
  2. Click "Bulk Actions" button
  3. Choose action from dropdown
  4. Configure action (new values)
  5. Preview changes
  6. Confirm
  7. Processing indicator
  8. Success notification

Lead Import

CSV Import

Access: Click "Import" button on leads page

Process:

  1. Download CSV template
  2. Fill in lead data
  3. Upload file
  4. Map columns to fields
  5. Validate data
  6. Review preview
  7. Confirm import
  8. Processing
  9. Summary report

Status Workflow Management

Status Change Dialog

Quick Change:

  • Click status badge on lead card

Workflow Prompts: Changing status may trigger prompts:

Researching → To Contact:

  • Prompts to add contact information

To Contact → Contacted:

  • Prompts for conversation notes
  • Asks for next follow-up date

Contacted → Qualified:

Priority Change Dialog

Quick Change:

Auto-Priority Suggestions: System suggests priority based on:

  • High distress score (8-10) → High
  • Recent status updates → Medium
  • No activity in 30+ days → Low
  • Keywords in notes ("motivated", "urgent") → High
