Accessing the Feed

Location: Dashboard → Activity Feed (sidebar or tab)

Feed Filters:

  • All activity
  • My team only
  • Friends only
  • Achievements only
  • Custom filters

Refresh: Auto-updates every 30 seconds or pull to refresh

Feed Items

Each Activity Shows:

  • User avatar
  • User name & tier
  • Action type with icon
  • Timestamp (e.g., "2 hours ago")
  • Details (lead count, badge name, etc.)
  • Engagement buttons (like, comment, kudos)

Example Activities:

🏠 John Smith captured 15 leads in West Side
   2 hours ago · 👍 5 · 💬 2

🏆 Sarah Jones earned the Weekend Warrior badge

Kudos System

What Are Kudos?

Definition: Virtual high-fives to recognize effort, achievement, or helpfulness.

Purpose:

  • Celebrate wins (big or small)
  • Encourage others
  • Build positive culture
  • Boost motivation
  • Show appreciation

Giving Kudos

How to Give:

  1. Find activity/profile you want to recognize
  2. Click "Give Kudos" button (👏)
  3. Select kudos type (optional)
  4. Add message (optional)
  5. Send

Kudos Types:

  • 🏆 Great Work - Impressive achievement
  • 💪 Keep Pushing - Encouragement
  • 🎯 Consistency - Steady performance
  • 🤝 Team Player - Helpful to others
  • 🌟 Inspiring - Motivates others
  • 🔥 On Fire - Amazing streak/performance

Kudos Cost: Free! Unlimited kudos

Receiving Kudos

Notifications:

  • Push notification when received
  • See in activity feed
  • Count on profile

Kudos Display:

  • Total kudos received (profile stat)
  • Recent kudos (profile section)
  • Kudos leaderboard (most helpful user)

What Kudos Do:

  • +10 XP per kudos received
  • Boosts visibility in feed
  • Increases engagement
  • Feels great! 🎉

Comments & Discussions

Commenting on Activities

What You Can Comment On:

  • Lead captures
  • Badge achievements
  • Streak milestones
  • Team announcements
  • Challenge completions

How to Comment:

  1. Click activity in feed
  2. Type comment in text box
  3. Add emoji (optional)
  4. Click "Post" or Enter

Comment Examples:

  • "Great work! What route did you take?"
  • "Congrats on the badge! 🎉"
  • "Can you share your strategy?"
  • "Keep it up! 💪"

Comment Etiquette

Do's:

  • ✅ Be supportive and positive
  • ✅ Ask helpful questions
  • ✅ Share relevant tips
  • ✅ Celebrate others' wins
  • ✅ Use encouraging language

Don'ts:

  • ❌ Spam or off-topic comments
  • ❌ Negative/critical comments
  • ❌ Self-promotion
  • ❌ Spoil challenge strategies
  • ❌ Compare negatively

Managing Comments

Your Comments:

  • Edit within 5 minutes
  • Delete anytime
  • View all your comments (profile)

On Your Activities:

  • Delete inappropriate comments
  • Report spam/abuse
  • Disable comments (settings)

Your Profile

Customize Your Profile:

  1. Settings → Profile
  2. Edit display name
  3. Upload avatar photo
  4. Write bio (50 words)
  5. Set visibility (public/team/private)
  6. Save changes

Following vs. Friends:

  • Following: One-way (you follow them)
  • Friends: Mutual connection (both follow each other)

Managing Connections

Your Followers:

  • See who follows you
  • Follow back to become friends
  • Block users if needed

Your Following:

  • Manage who you follow
  • Unfollow anytime
  • No notification sent

Suggested Follows:

  • Top performers
  • Team members
  • Similar skill level
  • Active users

Mentions & Tagging

Mentioning Users

How to Mention:

  • Type @username in comments
  • Select from autocomplete
  • User gets notification

When to Mention:

  • Ask specific question
  • Share credit
  • Seek advice
  • Celebrate teammate

Example: "@johndoe great route strategy! Can you share more details?"

Tagged in Activities

Get Tagged When:

  • Team lead shares credit
  • Someone mentions you
  • Collaborative achievement
  • Team challenge completion

Notifications:

Challenges & Competitions

Social Challenges

Challenge Others:

  1. Create custom challenge
  2. Set parameters (leads, timeframe, rules)
  3. Invite specific users/teams
  4. Winner gets bragging rights + XP

Challenge Types:

  • Head-to-head (you vs. one other)
  • Group challenge (3-10 people)
  • Team vs. team
  • Time-based (who's fastest)
  • Quality challenge (best leads)

Earn XP By:

  • Giving kudos: +5 XP (first 10/day)
  • Receiving kudos: +10 XP (unlimited)
  • Commenting: +3 XP (first 20/day)
  • Helpful comment upvotes: +2 XP per upvote
  • Completing team chat (daily): +25 XP

Social Butterfly Badge:

  • Earned by high engagement
  • Requires: 100 kudos given, 50 kudos received, 200 comments
  • Reward: +50 XP + 1.05x social XP multiplier

Social Leaderboards

Most Engaging Users:

  • Most kudos given (helpful user)
  • Most kudos received (appreciated user)
  • Most comments (active community member)
  • Most helpful (upvoted comments)

Monthly Prizes:

  • Top social user: 2,500 XP + Community Champion badge
  • Top 10: Recognition in feed

Troubleshooting

Activity Not Showing in Feed

Symptoms: Your activity isn't visible

Solutions:

  1. Check privacy settings - Activity set to private?
  2. Verify sync - Activity saved properly?
  3. Refresh feed - Pull to reload
  4. Check filters - Remove active filters

Can't Follow User

Symptoms: Follow button not working

Solutions:

  1. Check their privacy - Following disabled?
  2. Already following? - May need to unfollow first
  3. Blocked? - User may have blocked you
  4. Refresh page - Try again

Notifications Not Received

Symptoms: Missing social notifications

Solutions:

  1. Check settings - Notifications enabled?
  2. App permissions - Push notifications allowed?
  3. Quiet hours - In do-not-disturb period?
  4. Email spam - Check spam folder
  5. Re-enable - Toggle off and on

Kudos Not Counting

Symptoms: Gave kudos but no XP

Solutions:

  1. Daily limit - First 10/day earn XP
  2. Wait for sync - 5-minute delay
  3. Verify delivery - Kudos actually sent?
  4. Refresh profile - Check XP total again
