Sweat Equity Valuation
Value your own labor:
Conservative approach:
- Value at 50% of pro rate
- Kitchen cabinets: Pro charges $55/hr → You value at $28/hr
Market approach:
- Value at going market rate
- You save money by DIY → Value at full rate ($55/hr)
Hybrid approach:
- Simple tasks: 50% of pro rate
